2nd Annual Jett Foundation “Shine a Light on Duchenne” Gala – January 25, 6:00 pm – 11:00 pm, The State Room at 60 State St.

Tickets: $250 before December 31; $350 from January 1-25

 

For 16 years, the Jett Foundation has worked on behalf of children, adults and families affected by Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a genetic disorder characterized by progressive muscle degeneration and weakness. Enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dinner and an auction, with incredible live music from Young Love and the Thrills, all the while helping provide therapies, equipment and programs that enrich the lives of those affected by DMD.

 

The 10th Annual Boston Winter Ball – February 10, 9:00 pm – 12:00 am, The Grand Ballroom at the Fairmont Copley Plaza

An annual black-tie event that caters to social and civically-minded young professionals, the Boston Winter Ball is one of the most highly-anticipated events on Boston’s social calendar. Join attendees from all over the country as they gather to support the Corey C. Griffin Foundation, which continues Corey’s efforts to improve the lives of children through healthcare, education, and supporting their entrepreneurship dreams.

 

Third Annual Winter Gala – February 24, 7:00 pm – 1:30 am, The Grand Ballroom at the Westin Boston Waterfront

Join the Friends of Donny Higgins Memorial Fund as they promote and support Greater Boston’s youth recreation programs and advocate for the preservation of South Boston’s public spaces, including the Donald F. Higgins Memorial Street Hockey Arena. Prepare for an exciting, fun-filled night of live entertainment, food and beverages, and a $10,000 raffle, as you do your part to positively impact the community.

 

The 2018 Make-A-Wish Gala – April 7, 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm, The InterContinental Boston

The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, enriching the human experience with hope, strength and joy – join them as they work to make the dreams of over 100 children a reality. Last year’s gala raised over $1 million for wishes over the course of a night filled with stories, music, surprises and more.

 

One Night: The 36th Annual Boston Gala – May 12, 6:00 pm, Boston Marriott Copley Place

The New England Chapter of JDRF, a diabetes research foundation, is hosting One Night: The 36th Annual Boston Gala, a black-tie event that attracts over 700 guests as they raise money for Type 1 Diabetes research. The evening will feature an exciting live silent auction, an entertaining cocktail hour, dinner and live entertainment. An event to remember, One Night will celebrate how far JDRF has come toward the One Day when they can celebrate a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.
