A look at Pier 4’s favorite Instagram photos from Boston’s holiday season
Happy January! While the holidays may be over, we’ve compiled some of our favorite Instagram shots of the season that capture Boston’s holiday beauty as we reflect on 2016 and move into the New Year. From Beacon Hill to the South End, take a look at our favorite photos:
Beacon Hill area getting a bit Christmas-y with a fun touch of green this December. All the credit goes to IGBoston member @vic_nkt for capturing this beautiful shot. We loved this gorgeous shot of the historic Beacon Hill neighborhood decked out for the holidays from one of our favorite accounts, IGBoston.
We’re a fan of this snowy scene in progress captured by Boston Instagrammer @brianmcw on Back Bay’s Marlborough Street decorated for the season.
Ooh la la! The trellis at Christopher Columbus Park on the waterfront might have been our favorite Boston light display this season, captured by Boston Tweet.
Nothing quite like the first real snow of the season! We love the snowy branches lining the South End Streets in this shot from southendboston.
This season brought the lighting of the very first tree for the Seaport neighborhood! With live music, festive cheer, and food samples from Seaport-area restaurants, we’re looking forward to this new neighborhood tradition for years to come.
We’re so excited by Boston’s newest skating spot, captured in this re-gram from Boston.com of Boston Winter at City Hall Plaza. The plaza also features a variety of “chalets” for local food, jewelry and art, and more.
Happy New Year!
