A Taste of the Seaport: Recent Restaurant Openings near PIER 4

Talented chefs and restaurateurs are choosing to bring their culinary concepts to the Seaport and Fort Point neighborhoods. Almost weekly, there is a new and exciting eatery or destination to try, just steps from PIER 4. While we gear up to announce more curated retail coming to PIER 4, we wanted to share our list of the area’s latest, must-try places to experience, walking distance from your future front door.
60 Seaport Blvd.; coming November 2017
75 Chestnut and 75 on Liberty Wharf are about to have a new sibling in town. Spanning 7,000 square feet, 75 on Courthouse Square is slated to open next month. Brought to you by the Hampshire House Group, the restaurant will serve seasonal menus consisting of American food with a New England twist.
253 Summer St.; opened this fall
COJE Restaurant Group, the team behind Ruka, Yvonne’s and Lolita in Back Bay, just opened a new, beautifully decorated destination for Mexican inspired fare and drinks along the Harborwalk in Fort Point. Lolita’s atmosphere dazzles with red chandeliers, colorful stained glass, intimate lighting, and eye-catching murals.
100 Northern Ave.; opened this fall
This quick and healthy fix is located just steps from PIER 4. Honeygrow, which offers locally-sourced offerings and seasonal produce, is the perfect lunch stop to recharge after a workout or during the work day. We recommend the “Fall The Things” salad or the personalized stir-fry.
29 Northern Ave.; coming this fall
Philadelphia-based coffee roaster La Colombe has plans to expand to the Seaport within the next two months. The shop offers roasts from Mayanmar to Rwanda, Kenya, Ethiopia, and beyond, and is committed to perfecting the craft of brewing. Be sure to get a taste of one of their signature canned draft lattes.
53 Northern Ave.; coming to Seaport late 2017/early 2018
Looking for a delicious seafood meal without the frills? You’re in luck! New York-based favorite Luke’s Lobster is expanding to the Seaport. The restaurant offers some of New England favorite seafood delicacies in a causal setting without sacrificing taste. Enjoy lobster, crab, and shrimp rolls near the waterfront and within walking distance from PIER 4. The restaurant serves Maine and local craft brews and wine too.

This restaurant may sound familiar with a location at Patriot Place. Enjoy Executive Chef Kevin Long’s authentic and innovative Mexican-inspired dishes while watching the game in a lively atmosphere. The bar offers more than 100 premium tequilas, along with other unique drinks, such as their bottle rockets.

Take a quick walk upstairs from Scorpion Bar, and you’ve arrived at The Grand. This nightclub boasts Hollywood regency décor and a modern glamour theme. Bringing famous DJ’s to Boston, this high-energy destination with sophisticated style is described as “a palace for opulence.”

Although you may still want to take a walk to the North End for Italian cuisine, you don’t have to, now that Tuscan Kitchen has announced its newest location in the Seaport. Enjoy wood-roasted caponata, fresh pasta, and other regional Italian dishes steps from PIER 4.
