Spring and Summer Events in Boston That You Won’t Want to Miss

As the winter chill thaws to a spring ocean breeze, there is plenty happening on and off the water throughout Boston for adults and families. From art exhibitions to sports, and exotic cuisine to black tie affairs, the city’s museums, galas and restaurants, will have your social calendars full of fun this spring and summer.

  • Head to the Museum of Fine Arts for their “Past is Present: Revival Jewelry” exhibit, on now through August 2018. Sponsored by Cartier, the eye-catching display features Cartier and Tiffany and Co.’s modern interpretations of ancient jewelry.
  • Following the Red Sox home opener on April 3, there are plenty of home games at Boston’s historic 105-year-old Fenway Park for the entire family to enjoy. Check out the schedule here. Dining before or after the game? Your culinary options are no longer limited to Fenway Franks and Cracker Jacks.  The Fenway is now bustling with excellent restaurants including Hojoko, Tiger Mama, Island Creek Oyster Bar, and Eastern Standard Kitchen.
  • Fall in love with Tiger Mama’s Southeast Asian menu? Sit down with Chef Tiffani Faison of Tiger Mama and Sweet Cheeks Q on Tuesday, April 25 for a delicious meal that supports SheGives, Inc., an organization that advocates for women owned and operated small businesses in the food, wine, hospitality and service industries. Tickets are available here.
  • Love black tie affairs? Mark your calendars with the ICA Gala on Friday, May 19 and the MFA Summer Party on Saturday, June 10. At the ICA Gala, right next to Pier 4, experience dinner, cocktails, and pop-up performances. At the MFA Summer Party, enjoy drinks, dancing, a silent auction, and a private viewing of the MFA’s “Matisse in the Studio” exhibition, while supporting the Museum Council, a premier young group for arts advocates that provides essential support for the Museum’s annual operations.
